Bio
Massi H (Iranian-born) has been living in the U.S. since 2012. She has a bachelor’s in Fine Art From Southern Methodist University and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. The diversity of Massi’s cultural identity affects her art practice and her appreciation of the world. Her roots in cultures, in particular the mosaic and tapestry of Iran, have exposed her to diverse spheres of the pattern. Massi has been included in various exhibitions, including Pollock Gallery, Dallas, TX, The Gallery 8680, Frisco, TX, Silent auction art event, Plano, TX, Habitat for Humanity, Plano, TX, and Spring Creek Campus Art Gallery A175, Plano, TX. She has been awarded by the Doolin fund, Honor Scholarship, Artistic Scholarship, Downs, Thomas Lucius School Southern at Methodist University, and Named Engaged Faculty Scholarship at Collin College Foundation. She is also a member of Phi Beta Kappa and the National Mortar Board Honor Society.
